Meet the Teachers

My name is Morgan Balloun. I have been teaching kindergarten since 2013. I graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2012, I received my master’s degree in Special Education. Fun Facts: I attended Center Valley Elementary School, and I was an Arkansas Tech University cheerleader. I am married to Tyler Balloun and we enjoy going to Razorback games, camping, and traveling. We also enjoy spending time with our two dogs Gracie and Lyla. I love kindergarten and all the exploring, learning, and fun we get to have.
Hello, my name is Amy Maloch.  I have been teaching little ones since 2012. I love the students and parents at Center Valley. I received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Southern Arkansas University and my Master of Arts in Teaching from Arkansas Tech University. My husband Ryan and I have three daughters; Marley Kate, Lydia, and Natalie. As a family, we enjoy going to church, going to our farm, and hanging out with our friends. We also love to travel to see our family in south Arkansas. My favorite hobbies are making crafts with my girls, shopping, and running. My dream has always been to be a teacher. I am so excited that I get to live it everyday and make a difference in children’s education.
My name is Jeania Evans. I graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a master's in Elementary Education and have been teaching since 1981. I taught second grade at Sequoyah and first - second split class, and second - third split classes at London Elementary. I came to Center Valley when it opened and taught second grade until I moved to kindergarten.I have taught kindergarten since 2010. I am married to Jerry and we enjoy traveling, going to lakes and oceans, and spending time with our family and friends. Over the years, I have been able to teach in the same building with some of my past students. It is exciting to see the growth in all of my students, day to day, and year to year.

My name is Alyson Ragsdale. I grew up in Russellville, Arkansas. I graduated from Russellville High School in 2012 and then I graduated with my degree in Early Childhood Education from Arkansas Tech University in 2016. I love to spend time with my husband, Ryan, and my baby daughter, Gracelyn. One fun fact about me is that I played soccer for 14 years and I was a captain of the Lady Cyclones team who won state in 2012.
