RUSSELLVILLE HIGH SCHOOL (10-12):

Students attending Russellville High School have many options for study as they prepare for college and careers. Programs at the high school level develop both a strong foundation of general knowledge and skills and specialized competency in areas in which students have particular interests. Courses are offered in English, social studies, math, science, foreign languages, fine arts, health and physical education, and many occupational specialties. RHS offers 16 advanced placement (AP) courses and 30 hours of concurrent credit as well as a wide choice of athletics and other extracurricular activities. The RHS 1:1 Initiative provides all students at RHS with a Lenova Yoga ThinkPad, for an interactive classroom environment.
Students have the opportunity to take classes that match one of the 20 Career/Technical Education (CTE) pathways available at RHS. Students in the career pathways classes have the opportunity to receive college credit through Arkansas Tech University Ozark campus and receive industry level certifications.
The Arkansas Tech University Career Center located on the RHS campus is an extension of Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus and allows area students the opportunity to participate in nine industry-driven, job-specific programs that prepare students for immediate employment or further education after graduation. Students who participate can earn college credit hours before graduating high school, allowing them the opportunity to graduate college earlier and begin a successful career.
