The Russellville Lady Cyclones won the 5A State Golf title in comeback fashion at Ridgepointe Country Club in Jonesboro. RHS shot a 241 to defeat HS Lakeside who had a 245.
The Lady Cyclones trailed most of the day by as many as 9 strokes, but made a surge in the final 8 holes. With 5 holes to play, RHS took their first lead and after a brief tie, took the lead again for good.
Susanna Manns won the overall with a round of 67 (-5). Roccelle Manns finished 9th with an 84. Both girls made all state. Anna Kay McSpadden had a 90 and Addison Turner a 114.
