Minutes from Wednesday board meeting:
The Russellville Board of Education conducted a student hearing at 7:30 p.m. on April 7, 2021, at the Administration Building.
After the student hearing, the board conducted a called board meeting to discuss personnel matters.
The board approved the classified resignation.
The board approved all licensed staff resignations, transfers, retirements, and employment.
Updates to RSD Support Plan: April 1, 2021:
● Governor Hutchinson lifted the mandatory mask requirement on March 30, 2021 - giving districts the options to keep them in place or not.
● March 31, 2021 the RSD School Board of Education held a school board meeting, open to the public to discuss and decide about face mask wearing in RSD schools, moving forward.
○ The RSD School Board failed to adopt a policy to require face masks in schools; wearing face masks is optional for all students and staff in the buildings, starting April 1, 2021.
