Russellville School District and Arkansas Tech University in Partnership for Career Coaching Program.
Russellville School District is partnering with Arkansas Tech University in the development of a Pilot Career Coaching program. In this collaborative partnership, ATU will be funding the salaries of three new career coaches for RSD.
RSD and ATU will be working to implement suggestions from the Ted Abernathy report “Building a Regional Workforce Advantage“ following a workforce study that was sponsored by the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce. The initiatives “River Valley Inspire” and Arkansas’s “Ready for Life” will be complementary to the success of this program.
The goal of the Career Coaching Program is to provide students with skills and knowledge to prepare them for careers in the workforce. The RSD Career Coaches will facilitate student success and career planning based on the Russellville community job outlooks.
The RSD Career Coach positions are open and listed on the RSD website.
Russellville School District appreciates the continued support from Arkansas Tech University.
