Congratulations to our 2018 Dwight Elementary Teacher of the Year, Melissa Storm. She’s a hard-working, caring teacher who is very deserving of this award! We are proud to have her at Dwight!
Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up on May 7-11. Please encourage your children to write 'thank you' notes to their teacher/s, letting them know how much they're appreciated!
Mrs. Pruitt's class has been studying different environments around the world & are working on designing a shoe (for a traveler) that will have 2 or 3 adaptations to help with protection, etc.
Dwight students made some amazing pencils from recycled materials in Art Club!
Dwight Elementary students absolutely love when Arkansas Tech football players visit the playground!
Kindergarten students are having a great time on their field trip to The Wonder Place in Little Rock!
Students from Arkansas Tech University donated food for our pantry during Greek Week. We are very appreciative for the kindness they showed our school!
Staff at Dwight Elementary wore blue in support of Autism Awareness on Monday!

The yearbook deadline has been extended a few days! Send $15 cash or check (payable to Dwight PTO) in an envelope with your child's name to school by this Friday, March 30.
Mrs. Dilbeck's class sold the most Fun Fair raffle tickets so they got the pleasure of taping Mrs. Donna to the wall in the cafeteria during lunch today! She was a very good sport about it!
The 3rd Quarter Awards Assembly will be held on Thursday, April 5. Please notice the change in assembly times: K-2 will be held from 8:30-9:00 and 3-4 will be held from 9:30-10:00.
Dwight Movie Night is coming up on Friday, April 6! Be looking for a note in your child's backpack this afternoon!
