The Rockefeller String Quartet from the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra performed the “Science of Music” for our third and fourth graders. Students learned about pitch and sound waves demonstrated through several classical music pieces. Thank you to Bill and Sharon Eaton and Mary Lou Douglas from the Russellville Symphony Guild for inviting our guests, and to Mrs. Bell for always inspiring a love for music in all of our students!

Fractions can be so much fun! Mrs. Youngblood's class is mastering concepts through hands on exploration! They used fraction tiles to compare fractions on a number line in Zearn.

Mrs. Hudson’s kindergarten class has been working on identifying events using fairy tales. The students listened to the “Three Little Pigs” and wrote about their favorite event that happened in the story. Each student decided if their event happened in the beginning, middle, or end. This was a fun way for students to practice retelling skills!
