Mrs. Staten's class has been learning about our CKH word of the month: respect by listening to and then discussing the focus word from a read aloud. Students have also been practicing the skill of asking questions about key details in a text to show comprehension. #EducateEquipEmpower

Cyclone Softball is having a skills camp on February 17th for Pre-K through 8th grade students.
Our PTO candy bar fundraiser begins today! Please check your child's backpack for the fundraising letter and permission slip. ▪️Students must have a signed permission slip to sell candy bars. They may bring them back starting tomorrow. ▪️Candy bars will be sent home with students unless they go to the Boys and Girls Club. Boys and Girls Club candy bars will need to be picked up in the office. ▪️For any box checked out, $60 must be returned. We cannot take back candy bars/opened boxes. ▪️Please write your student’s name AND their teacher’s name on the money return envelope. This will help make sure the right student gets credit for selling the box. ▪️PLEASE DO NOT SIGN THE MONEY RETURN ENVELOPE UNLESS YOU WANT TO CHECK OUT ANOTHER BOX. I know this is confusing, so I wanted to make sure everyone knew that’s what signing the envelope means. ▪️Also, we MUST have a signed money return envelope, or a written and signed note from a parent requesting another box in order to check one out for students. There are many prizes to win this year! Thank you so much for raising money for our school!

Due to current weather reports and an ice storm warning issued by the National Weather Service, RSD has made the decision to close all schools tomorrow, January 22, 2024, in order to ensure the safety of all students and families.
