Our 3rd grade classes competed in the OHE Annual Kickball Tournament. Mr. Leavell's class won the golden kickball trophy. Thank you to Coach Jenkins for organizing this event! Our students had a blast!
This is the last week to view Halloween art at the River Valley Arts Center. RVAC is located next to the Hughes Center. It is open M-F until 5:00. Most students chose to sell their art for $5 or $10. Bring your wallet if you want to make a student's day! Special thanks to Mrs. Arnold for preparing our students work for the show! Forty OHE students submitted artwork!
We kicked off Red Ribbon Week today! We are Red-y to live a drug free life!
Our Capturing Kids Hearts word of the month is self-direct. Self-direct means lead yourself to who you want to be. Mrs. Hudson’s kindergarten class is working hard to try and meet their social contract goals with listening and following directions. They have been learning the letter Tt and made a craft to go along with the letter. Students did a great job meeting their goals during this activity! #CapturingKidsHearts #EducateEquipEmpower
